Phantom Gears (AL) Annette Lionheart Color Ill. 1

Color Illustration of Annette Lionheart, the main character to the prologue story, Phantom Gears: Annette Lionheart. She's the mother of Alyssa, Naru and Irene, who died 15 years before the main story arc giving child birth to the girl who'd become known as Irene Sapphire at the age of 22. Her boyfriend is Allister Marygold, whom she's had many affairs with. Annette is a first generation Mage and she is capable of wielding Ice magic and her cybernetic arms are made out of alloys that have been enhanced with magic that make them compatible with her magic. Los Argus City, is where Annette is from and Alyssa's birthplace, a city that's been ruled by gangs, corporate greed and worshipers of the House of Darkness, Annette and her friends from the strip club carry out assassinations of corporate politicians and gang leaders. As a result, Annette and her friends are branded as wanted criminals with a bounty.

At a very young age, Annette was taken into the strip club, Nyx by some Mages who are undercover vigilantes to keep her safe from the streets. Annette only remembers that the orphanage she was living in was burned down by the House of Darkness and she was the only one that survived the onslaught of the House of Darkness cultists. Ever since that day, Annette vowed she'd protect the children and eventually train them to become vigilantes as well.

Annette and Allister met at the strip club, where Annette was underage drinking, resulting in her getting drunk and she slept with Allister in a private room. To no real surprise, she ended up showing signs of pregnancy months later, during the course of that time however, Annette had fallen in love with Allister and she'd always promise that she'd marry him someday.

2 Years later, the emergence of the Terror Games commence in Los Argus City and a huge demon attack occurs. Annette and two of her friends end up becoming enslaved by Simon Magnolia, after being defeated by him. It's shortly after Annette was enslaved that she soon found herself being forced by Simon to make love with him, as she was his favorite slave in particular. It would be after the Terror Games, that Annette would be trapped in the Demon Realm for 2 years and during those two years she gave birth to Naru, who she continued to take care of. One day in the Demon Realm, a powerful rifts appears in the Demon Real and charging through the Demon Realm was the Polaris Cathedral and the Gemstone Family. It was a counter offensive from the Terror Games incident from 2 years ago, they came in an attempt to try and seal away the Azure Knights who were the ones who killed many of the innocents of Los Argus City. However, the Polaris Cathedral took heavy casualties and they only managed to defeat one of the Azure Knights of the Demon Overlord of the Southern Empire. Later on, it would be said that a demigoddess from another world would defeat the other Azure knights on her own, as quickly as she defeated the Azure Knights, she mysteriously vanished without a trace. Annette would attempt to take Naru with her from the Demon Realm to escape to take advantage of the chaos, but Simon had outsmarted Annette and he forced her away. Annette escapes but bitterly mourns, believing that she'd lost Naru forever.

After Annette returns from the Demon Realm, she reunites with Allister and spends 3 years with him doing her usual routine, until one day she became pregnant again. It the was first time where, Annette had willfully given herself to Allister as her feelings were expressing deep felt love for him. Annette mysteriously vanished from Los Argus City after a few weeks after being examined by a doctor about her pregnancy. She left a note to Allister and Alyssa, telling them that she wants to protect their child in her own way because this girl was going to be born as a "normal". Annette feared that her precious treasure between her and Allister would be corrupted and she fled as far way from Los Argus as she could with what little money she had. She promised Allister that she'd return to him and Alyssa to their new home away from all the fighting and death, however, Annette would become terminally ill and on a stormy day, Annette makes her way to a nearby Polaris Cathedral church and it's there Annette meets Catherine Sapphire. Annette's labor pains begins to intensify as Catherine tries to calm her down. Tears being running down Annette's eyes as she began to see that she wouldn't be able to fulfill her promise to Allister as she began to bleed out quickly after giving birth. With Annette's last dying words, she says that she's sorry to Allister, Alyssa, Naru and her baby who she'd leave. Annette had felt that all hope had been lost and her dream would be lost for all eternity, loss of her reason to live would become the reason why Annette's body never became a Phantom Gear, but it dissipated into magic.

Presently, Annette continues to be a Phantom in the Phantom Rift, peering into the Human Realm through a parallel window. She continues to harbor the heartbreak of her past life, however, when Memoria approaches Annette, she revives her hope and reveals to Annette her children have been united for 3 years together. Memoria asks Annette if she wants a "second chance" in the Human Realm, as Ryoto had found a way to revive the Phantoms from the Phantom Gears. Annette asks Memoria if there was any chance that she could meet Allister again, Memoria nods her head and says she could fish out his soul from the Soul Steam as his soul hasn't been judged yet. Memoria tells Annette that she will be revived as a Phantom Gear and her form will be her beloved Razbell Heatedge and from there, she must find someone who's willing to help her find Ryoto and Shoma. Annette agrees to Memoria's conditions and Annette is resurrected as a Phantom Gear that suddenly appeared in the Polaris Cathedral church where she died. It's here that the Polaris Cathedral takes Annette back to her strip club by her request, where she'd form a Phantom contract with newbie vigilante, Isabella Athena Skycrown, where she makes her journey from the UF to the Kotterra Empire in her search for Ryoto and Shoma.
